El Zarape Michoacano: Authentic Mexican Flavors in Bell Gardens, CA

Restaurant is a bit outdated but they keep it clean and make it up by great food, ingredients, and friendly service. Everything tastes fresh and they don't skimp out on cheap cheese too. Best sopes and huaraches I've had.

As close to homemade as you can get in the Commerce/Bell Gardens area. Food is delicious, hand made and the people are super sweet. A little pricey, but the quality, the service and the flavor is worth the price. The quesadilla de nopales con Chile rojo on a handmade tortilla is by far one of the best I’ve ever had! It’s definitely a gem of a restaurant in our area.

Maybe the food tasted extra delicious because I'm 8 months pregnant. Either way, the best morisqueta and enchiladas. I wish they had the guilota to accompany them!! Service was exceptional.

Really glad we happen to drive by this place! So much traffic on our way home made us take a detour and we had the munchies. Super Nachos & agua de pepino were so delicious and fresh tasting Edit. I come for lunch every now and then and their torta de cabeza is so good. That agua de pepino

I tried their fish tacos, the lady at the counter recommended them. They were freshly made, good portion, lots of salsa from the small salsa bar they have. The tacos had good flavor, not the best, but were very satisfying. Would I go back to get them? Defenetly, yes . I accompanied the tacos with a fresh pinaple water, very delicious, not too sweet, just right. It came in a glass mason jar. Not the best option in my opinion. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was helpful and accommodating, considering my 30 minute lunch. The whole meal was inexpensive and satisfying.

Our experience at this place first time was exelent, the food is delicious the service outstanding Maria the person who took my order and her coworker was so kind and professionals, we order enchiladas made with potato and carne asada and cecina OMG so delicious .thank you El zarape michoacano And crew

Amazing place. One of the good places that knows how to make their tacos. Quick service and friendly staff. Check out when you’re in the area and are craving Mexican tacos.

This restaurant is the quintessential neighborhood dining place. The food was fantastic, plentiful, the staff ; two beautiful ladies were so nice, so helpful, so pleasant. The gentleman just stayed busy preparing everything and he still had time to assist the two ladies, and customers, in assuring that everyone had their orders met. This was a terrific dining experience. Seating, well, not so good. 3 booths, 2 tables and a counter for 3. Inside then 3 tables for four and a counter for 3 outside. Parking is 80% on the street and maybe 10 spaces off street. This is a great Mexican restaurant. Everyone speaks primarily spanish so know what you want prior to stopping unless your fluent in Spanish. Highly recommended.
